Overview

Serving Our Community

The affluence in Frisco is not universal as many believe. While much attention is placed on the exciting boom, Frisco has also witnessed a growing population of families who are experiencing a financial crisis. Loss of employment, medical issues, death and divorce are all contributing factors to the rise of families and individuals needing assistance.

Frisco Family Services provides services to individuals and families who live in Frisco or Frisco ISD.

In the 2017-2018 fiscal year, FFS assisted 3,447 individuals, provided more than $1.1 million in annual program support, provided more than 398,000 meals, issued vouchers for clothing and household goods at Frisco Resale, offered adult life skills classes to over 370 individuals, helped over 300 children with back to school clothing, shoes and supplies, distributed 205 Thanksgiving meals to families, provided nearly 900 children, parents and seniors with holiday gifts, and distributed more than meals to children at the Summer Lunch Program. These are all very impressive accomplishments which could not be achieved without the support of our donors and volunteers.
