Our board represents a cross-section of our community and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The members work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization and oversee that the funds raised directly affect those in need.
Frisco Family Services welcomes new Board of Directors members
Frisco Family Services is pleased to announce five new members to its Board of Directors. Gary Carley, Executive Vice President at North Dallas Bank; Tyler Clutts, Senior Associate at Rubicon Representation; Christopher A. Korst, Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer at Rent-A-Center, Inc.; Lara Salinas, Human Resources Director at Essilor of America, Inc.; and Christina Tribble, Assistant Vice President, Administration at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco, who joined Frisco Family Services Board of Directors July 1, 2017.
“We’re very excited to welcome these five new members to Frisco Family Services’ Board of Directors,” said Nicole S. Bursey, Frisco Family Services’ Executive Director. “Each of them brings great skills, talents and a real heart to serve our community, which is so beneficial to our organization.”
Frisco Family Services Board Officers are: Stephen Hadzima, M.D., President (Chief Medical officer at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano); Karen Cunningham, Immediate Past President (Senior Human Resources Consultant at The Hopkins Group); John Valker, Vice President Operations and Operations Committee Chair (President/Owner at 360 IT Services); Dan Manley, business consultant; Ken Schwartz, Secretary (Senior Counsel at Conifer Health Solutions); and Andrew Sefzik, Assistant Secretary (Attorney at Strasburger & Price, LLP). Completing our 2017-2018 Board of Directors, we have Helen Babbe, Vice President at HH Global; Molly Bullington, Community Volunteer; and Robert Chase, Senior Vice President at BB&T Dallas.
About Frisco Family Services
Frisco Family Services is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help members of our communities who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency. Frisco Family Services houses Frisco’s only community Food Pantry, and sells and distributes clothing, furniture, and household items through Frisco Resale. Frisco Family Services also offers life skill classes, educational assistance and employment support to adult clients, financial assistance for bills, utilities and prescription medications, as well as resource and referral assistance. Seasonal programs include: The Summer Lunch Program, Back to School Fun Fair, Thanksgiving Meal Program, Holiday Store Program and the Silver Bells Holiday Social and Celebration.
