Frisco Family Services (FFS) recently welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors. Heather Bowers, Principal at Lone Star Benefits; Luke Meldrum, Owner of Maverick Color Labs; and Andrew Sefzik, Associate at Strasburger & Price, LLP join the 17 other FFS Board Members who work tirelessly for the advancement and oversight of Frisco Family Services’ mission of helping members of our communities who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.

Frisco Family Services Board Officers are: Mike Mullen, President (Sonexus Health, President); Karen Cunningham, President Elect (The Hopkins Group, Senior HR Consultant); Paul Boyd, Vice President – Operations Development (Cloud9B2B, Founder); Ricardo Cordon, Treasurer (Rent-A-Center, Inc., Executive Vice President of Mexico); Keith Wright, Asst. Treasurer (Branch, Banking & Trust, Senior Vice President); Dani Smith, Secretary (Law Office Of Dani Smith, Attorney at Law); and Jennifer Barnes, Assistant Secretary (Community Volunteer).

Frisco Family Services is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization serving the communities of Frisco and Frisco ISD. The mission of Frisco Family Services is to help members of our communities who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency. FFS houses the only food pantry in Frisco and offers financial assistance for critical needs such as rent/mortgage, gasoline and utility payments. FFS sells and distributes clothing, furniture, and household items through Frisco Resale. Special programs include: Summer Lunch Program, Back-To-School Fun Fair, Thanksgiving Food Distribution and FFS Holiday Program. FFS also offers life skills classes, educational assistance and employment support to adult clients.
