Volunteering With Frisco Family Services

Volunteers are at the heart of the work we do at Frisco Family Services. Whether you’re looking to serve regularly, give a few hours when your schedule allows, volunteer alongside your family, or bring a group together to give back, there are many ways to make a difference.

Our volunteer program offers opportunities for individuals of all ages, families, corporate and community groups, students, and seniors, with options ranging from ongoing service in the Frisco Market and Frisco Resale to seasonal programs, special events, and one-time projects throughout the year.

We know volunteering looks different for everyone. Our goal is to help you find an opportunity that fits your interests, availability, and stage of life while connecting you to meaningful ways to serve our community.

How to Volunteer

Ready to get involved? We’d love to have you! Please take a moment to review the information below carefully, as it outlines everything you’ll need to get started. If you still have questions after reviewing the steps, our Volunteer Services team is always happy to help.

Individual Volunteers

The first step is to register for a New Volunteer Orientation. Orientations are offered throughout the month based on age and volunteer type. Before attending, please review the requirements for your age group below, download and complete all required forms, and bring the completed forms with you to orientation.

During orientation, you’ll learn about Frisco Family Services, our volunteer opportunities, age requirements, and everything you need to get started.

After orientation, volunteers will complete the remaining onboarding steps and create a volunteer profile. Once approved, your profile will allow you to view and sign up for available shifts, manage your schedule, and track your volunteer hours.

Court-Appointed Community Service

Court-appointed volunteers follow a separate application and approval process. Please visit our Court-Appointed Community Service page to complete the required packet and review additional requirements before volunteering.

Groups & Corporate Volunteers

Looking to volunteer with your company, school, church, civic organization, or other group? You do not need to register each person for a New Volunteer Orientation.

Our Volunteer Services team can work directly with your group to coordinate a date, determine the best opportunity based on your group size and our current needs, and provide everything your volunteers need before serving.
