From The Market to the Golf Classic, Joe Reddington Continues to Show Up for Our Community

Frisco Family Services Board Member and 2026 Golf Classic Chair Joe Reddington volunteering and supporting community events.

When it comes to supporting Frisco Family Services, you could say Joe Reddington is always in full swing.

Joe and his wife, Sue, first connected with Frisco Family Services through St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church when the agency was located in its former Rail District location. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into nearly 20 years of service and support for local families facing hunger, homelessness, and other urgent needs.

Over the years, Joe and Sue have volunteered at The Market, hosted food drives, supported events, attended GalaONE, adopted families during the holidays, and helped provide meals for neighbors in need throughout the year.

As Joe approached retirement in October 2024, he knew he wanted to stay active and continue giving back to the community.

“I needed something to do where I wasn’t just sitting around,” Joe shared.

Shortly after retiring, Joe stepped into a volunteer driver role with Frisco Family Services, helping pick up food donations and keep The Market stocked for families and seniors in crisis.

“I saw the need for food as a basic necessity,” he said. “It has been a way to stay engaged and give back to my community.”

Whether he is cleaning out trucks, helping organize shelves, supporting donation drives, or stepping in wherever needed, Joe consistently goes above and beyond to support the mission of Frisco Family Services.

In June 2025, Joe joined the Frisco Family Services Board of Directors. This year, he is also serving as Chair of the 2026 Golf Classic at Stonebriar Country Club.

A lifelong golfer who recently celebrated a hole-in-one at PGA Frisco, Joe is combining his love of the game with his passion for helping others through one of the organization’s signature fundraising events.

The 2026 Golf Classic will bring together community leaders, businesses, sponsors, and supporters for a day dedicated to making an impact on local families in crisis.
