Things to Know
The first step in volunteering with Frisco Family Services is to contact the Volunteer Services Manager at volunteer@friscocenter.org. The Volunteer Services Manager will connect with you about ways to support Frisco Family Services and discuss our process.
TEENS WHO ARE 16 AND 17 YEAR-OLD, START HERE:
You will need to sign a parental consent form to volunteer by yourself. To do this, you must attend the New Volunteer Orientation 16-17 year olds.
ADULTS 18 YEARS OLD AND OLDER, START HERE:
You must pass a criminal background check in order to volunteer with Frisco Family Services. If you would like to be a volunteer driver, then you will also have to pass a motor vehicle record check. Paperwork for background checks are handed out when you attend an orientation. To do this click here. A suggested $10.00 donation to help defray the cost of running your background check is requested. We must receive a completed Background Check before you are able to start volunteering.
PLEASE CHECK THIS PAGE FREQUENTLY FOR UPDATES ON VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN UNDER 16.
Previously, children ages 4-10 years old would participate in our Little Hands opportunities created just for them. Children ages 11-15 would volunteer only if a parent had completed orientation. Again, please check this page frequently for updates and changes to our current volunteer policy.
Group and Corporate Volunteers
