Nicole Bursey is the executive director of nonprofit Frisco Family Services, which provides emergency assistance for those in Frisco and Frisco ISD who are facing a financial crisis. She said the disparity between low-income and high-income households has grown as a result of the pandemic.
The amount of support we have seen through this year of uncertainty has amazed us. We are truly humbled by your spirit of giving as individuals and as a community. Your actions during our Community-wide Food Drive and Thanksgiving Meal Distribution were inspiring, and for that, we thank each one of you for your gift of hope to so many others.
“Prior to the pandemic impacting all aspects of our lives, it would have been hard to imagine that there could be so many more families here needing help, and all at the same time,” says Nicole Bursey, executive director of Frisco Family Services.
